ANDRITZ INTRODUCES NEW PELLET MILLS TO ITS LM SERIES

Andritz has introduced two new V-belt-driven pellet mills for the wood pelleting industry – the 26LM3 and the 26WLM3 – reflecting the latest innovations in biofuel processing. Safety, ease of maintenance, and low operating costs were top priorities when designing the mills. This generation of V-belt driven mills has fewer parts but even more capacity, so it runs more smoothly, is quieter, and experiences less wear, even under the harshest conditions. The mill produces pellets at the minimum cost per ton, thus helping customers to reach their economical and sustainability targets. Customers can also choose from additional features and options like the low-density centre feeder, the new jackshaft base, the V-belt tensioning system, as well as patent-pending roll temperature sensor technology. www.andrtiz.com

BOSSTEK INTRODUCES NEW COMPACT DUST SUPPRESSION DESIGN

BossTek’s new mobile dust suppression system, Dust- Boss Atom, is a fan-less, self-contained design that incorporates remote control and 4G LTE telematics technologies. The compact, diesel-powered unit fits in the back of a pick-up truck, so it can be quickly positioned and relocated to address dust-generating activity directly at the source. It also has fork lift pockets on the front and back. The Atom features a Kohler KD440 power plant – a 9.1-hp air-cooled engine that meets Tier-IV Final emissions standards and complies with California CARB requirements. A unique air filtration system increases performance and lengthens service intervals, even in dusty environments. Its integrated fuel injection system and overhead cam design are coupled with a cast iron cylinder liner for consistent, reliable service. www.bosstek.com

EDGE INNOVATE UNVEILS NEW MOBILE SCREENER

With increased throughput, high efficiency and quality end products, the EDGE SM186 mobile screener incorporates an 18-foot by six-foot two deck screen with interchangeable flip flow and conventional scalper bottom decks. This flexibility combined with numerous screen media options and configurations allows the EDGE SM186 to process a wide range of materials and totackle screening applications that other conventional screens can’t. Design features include a low-level feed hopper designed to accept loads from all three sides without the need of construction ramps, two- or three-way splitting configuration, hydraulic folding discharge conveyors to facilitate the quick transition from operation to transport and a fully integrated power unit with large service access. www.edgeinnovate.com
